Briefly About Me:

I grew up in a small town outside of Rochester New York and after going only a short distance away to college, returned to Rochester. I've been around cameras ever since I was young, but it wasn't until I took a photography course in college that I saw them as more than just a toy. After two additional college courses, I had found it was now a full fledged hobby. I shot black & white film while in college but afterwards I switched to color film. In 2004, I made the switch to digital when I bought my Canon EOS Digital Rebel and more recently (in 2009), I'vce upgraded to a Canon EOS 50D. While I still have and use my 35mm Canon FTb, I shoot almost entirely Digital Photos now. Since my switch to digital I find myself shooting more and trying new things. Being able to see immediately what I did allows me to make corrections on the fly to get the shot I want. Not to mention, if I make a mistake instead of wasting film I just delete it and try something else. I am now free to experiment to my hearts content. The down side (which really isn't a downside) is that now instead of hundreds of pictures a year, I'm taking thousands. Which brings me to why I created this site. This site is a way for me to showcase some of what I feel is my best work so everyone can see it. Besides, what good are my photographs if they just sit on my hard drive growing old? On this site you will be able to browse or search through the online portion of my collection. When ever possible I will include the details as to the camera settings I used. All photos on this site are original works created by me unless otherwise stated.
